High Efficiency Condensing Boilers
You may be aware of changes to the Building Regulations which are due to take effect from 1st April 2005. The new regulations mean that, wherever possible, the majority of all boilers installed in England and Wales must be high efficiency condensing boilers. It's hoped that this change will ensure households use energy more efficiently to help slow the effects of global warming.
Lower running costs
High efficiency models (SEDBUK band 'A' rating) use fuel more economically, capturing otherwise wasted heat to give improved performance and lower running costs over conventional boilers.
There will be, however, situations where it is not possible to fit a condensing boiler, in which case standard efficiency boilers will still be available.
